Lukas Lezzi studied at the University of Zurich. He received his doctorate with his thesis on “Regulation and Supervision of Collective Investment Schemes for Alternative Investments”, which was published in the renowned Swiss Writings on Financial Market Law.
Subsequently, he worked for Schellenberg Wittmer, a top-tier Swiss law firm. During his time at Schellenberg Wittmer, he also gained experience in project planning and management in the banking sector.
Afterwards, Lukas Lezzi was Data Protection Officer at SIX-Group, where he was able to gain extensive and in-depth knowledge in the field of data protection, compliance, and financial market regulation.
At Meyerlustenberger Lachenal Froriep AG, Lukas Lezzi was part of the Banking&Finance team as well as Regulatory/FinTech/DLT. He advised his clients in the areas of financial market, capital market, banking, data protection and collective investment law. He specialized in regulatory advice on innovative business models and obtaining various approvals from FINMA.
